Life and Death
Life and Death by Hacksaw Gaming assigns a Horseman and multiplier range to each of reels two to five. The Canadian Roobet overview distinguishes ordinary multiplier Wilds from the conditional full-reel expansions and the activated Death Reels.
Horsemen and Wild expansion
Each Horseman substitutes for paytable symbols. A contributing Wild multiplies the win by its displayed value; values from multiple contributing Wilds or Wild Reels are added first. Any Horseman can land on reels two to five, but a base-game expansion requires its own connected reel and at least one winning combination after expansion. An expanded Wild covers the reel and keeps the original multiplier. No reel can receive more than one Wild Multiplier on a spin.
| Horseman | Connected reel | Possible multipliers |
|---|---|---|
| Blue Pestilence | 2 | 2x, 3x, 4x |
| Red War | 3 | 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x |
| Yellow Famine | 4 | 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x |
| Green Death | 5 | 30x, 40x, 50x, 75x, 100x, 200x |
Devastation and Reckoning
Three FS scatters award ten Devastation spins. Base-game mechanics remain, with multiplier Wilds more likely to land. Four FS scatters instead award ten Reckoning spins, which retain Devastation and add permanently activated Death Reels for that bonus.
In Reckoning, a Horseman landing on its connected reel activates that reel. Thereafter, that Horseman can expand wherever it lands among reels two to five, provided the expansion participates in a win. In either bonus, two FS symbols add two spins and three add four. FS symbols are limited to reels two to five, and an FS symbol cannot share a reel with a Wild Multiplier on the same spin.
Dark theme and regular line awards
The monochrome six-reel, five-row game has 19 paylines. Card ranks and symbolic images such as a heart lock, chalice, sun and hand with an eye form its paying set. The Multi-face symbol has the largest six-symbol award below.
